Javiera, one of the most outstanding directors and photographers in Chile and Latin America, was born in Chile and is a member of a family of artists; thus, she trained her eye naturally thanks to the privileged cultural environment in which she was raised.

She studied photography and began her professional work in film, doing still photography for important films such as Silvio Caiozzi´s "Cachimba", Mexican Ricardo de Montreuil's "La Mujer de mi Hermano" ( My Brother´s Wife), Joaquín Eyzaguirre's "Casa de Remolienda" (The Cathouse), and Christian Galaz and Andrea Ugarte's "El Regalo" (The Gift).

At the same time, she forged her way in theater photography with great Chilean directors, to later begin her successful career in the editorial, advertising, fashion, and celebrity world.

Her work stands out from the crowd: her dexterous handling of light, staging, creativity, and eye for detail speak for themselves. Her intuition and energy result in the discovery and reinvention of her images; thus, she has always been surprising with new works, formats, and languages, and that has been what quickly led her to direct audiovisual pieces that have drawn the attention of many in the industry.

Javiera has directed and photographed in various places around the world, collaborating with artists, brands, magazines, and celebrities such as Sarah Jessica Parker, Michael Phelps, Kate Moss, Shailene Woodley, Arturo Vidal, Alexis Sanchez, Ozuna, and Lunay, among others.

In the music world, she has made more than 20 music videos, collaborated with artists such as Denise Rosenthal, Francisca Valenzuela, Debi Nova, Princesa Alba, Polima West Coast, Power Peralta, Tommy Boysen, Flor de Rap, among others.

Javiera is also part of the network of women directors in the world Free the Bid
